Spring Engineering Services Ltd is a specialist precision engineering business that has been based in Brucefield Industrial Estate, Livingston since 2001. The business trades as Ritchie Precision and currently have a full-time headcount of 36 staff.

Spring Engineering Services has achieved significant growth over the past five years; this has predominately been driven by exports to the USA. The company has worked closely on its growth plans with West Lothian Council’s Business Gateway team. Grant support of £60,000 from the Jobs Task Force has helped Spring to invest in building more production capacity at their site and create 12 new higher-value roles.

The business has also benefitted from consultancy support through the Expert Help scheme. There has been joined-up support from Scottish Enterprise to further assist with the company’s growth.
