2-Day Employee Ownership Learning Journey to Edinburgh and Lothians

Co-operative Development Scotland (CDS) is hosting a free learning journey to employee-owned companies from Edinburgh and Lothians to showcase examples of effective employee ownership in successful, growing businesses. These companies will share their learning and experience giving helpful pointers of what has worked and what hasn’t in their employee ownership journey.
During this two-day trip you will meet representatives from:
- Aspect – strategic communication experts
- Tepnel Pharma Services – pharmaceutical testing firm
- i4 Product Design – product design consultancy
- Jerba Campervans – campervan conversion specialists
- Computer Application Services – software company
- Edinburgh Designs – wave and tidal research facility designer and installer
You will also take part in two workshops:
- A governance workshop delivered by Ewan Hall from Baxendale Employee Ownership
- An employee engagement workshop delivered by John Housego from employee-owned seafood processor Aquascot
On the evening of 30 October, CDS will host a dinner with guest speaker Simon Fowler, Chair, Director and Non-Executive Director.
