Project Management CMI Level 5 Certificate

Join us for this exciting 5-part programme to develop and focus on the knowledge and skills required to manage projects and overcome key professional problems and challenges. Participants that attend all sessions will gain a CMI Level 5 Certificate for Project Management.

The ILM Level 5 Certificate in Project Management is aimed at practicing or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner. It is aimed at people managing projects, although the qualification is also open to learners wishing to build on their general management skills.

The CMI Level 5 Certificate in Project Management consists of two units, delivered over five classroom sessions:

  • Managing Projects to Achieve Results
  • Conducting a Management Project

As part of this unit, the learner will plan and manage a genuine project in the workplace, revenant to a business need or challenge.

By the end of the programme, attendees will:

  • Understand the role of projects in delivering organisational strategy
  • Understand processes for initiating, planning and managing projects
  • Understand the factors which contribute to effective project management
  • Know how to plan a management project
  • Be able to conduct a management project.

The programme will be delivered by the fantastic Jeff Lockhart, Director of St Andrews Management Centre. Jeff has extensive experience in providing training in areas including Project Management, Leadership, and Finance.
