West Lothian Pizza Oven Company Reports 264% Increase in Revenue to £208m

Pizza oven company Ooni has reported a 264% rise in turnover from £57.2m in 2020 to £208m during the year to 31 December 2021.

The West Lothian-based business also recorded a 264% increase in revenue to £208m.

It now sells pizza ovens and accessories in more than 90 countries worldwide. Last year, the company launched a multi-fuel pizza oven last year - the only such oven certified by the Italian industry body protecting traditional Napoletana pizza.

Ooni is set to continue expanding its range of products, with the first half of 2022 already seeing the launch of its first ever range of groceries.

Darina Garland, co-founder and co-chief executive, said: “Our growth has enabled us to expand the team, with employee numbers increasing over 500% since January 2020 - today we have 313 people in our company.”
