A new M&S Foodhall is set to open its doors next year, bringing 60 new jobs with it.
The store is opening at Stockbridge Retail Park, Falkirk Road, Linlithgow on January 25 and will boast a fresh-market style foodhall and bakery.
Store manager Brian Torley, winner of Retail Week’s Store Hero Award in 2022, has been busy recruiting for positions across the store – from customer assistants and bakers to operations roles ahead of the opening early next year.
The new-look M&S Foodhall store represents a significant investment in Linlithgow’s local economy and follows the retailer’s recent announcement that it plans to invest £500 million in its store rotation programme, creating over 3400 new jobs across the UK.
Brian, who has worked for M&S for 13 years and is leading the exciting store opening and recruitment drive, said: “Our local community is at the heart of M&S, so to be able to create new job opportunities for Linlithgow residents is truly fantastic.
“We have identified some great candidates, and we can’t wait for everyone to meet them when we open our doors next year.”
