Prospective business owners recently enjoyed a masterclass on how to transform their business idea in to a successful new venture.
The ‘Simplifying the Business Start Up Process’ event, organised by Business Gateway West Lothian, took place at Whitburn Partnership Centre on Thursday, the 5th of September, and covered a range of topics, including developing a strategic business plan, building a strong brand from nothing, implementing sustainable practices, and accessing financial support.
Attendees also had the opportunity to gain further insight via a panel discussion and Q&A session featuring local business owners.
Locally owned businesses contribute and estimated £14.5million to the West Lothian economy with Business Gateway West Lothian supporting the development of approximately 300 new start businesses per annum.
