A new 3,200 sq ft, 90-seater Starbucks has opened at The Centre, Livingston.

The latest tenant at the shopping centre brings 20 jobs and joins other recent arrivals, including the first Cinnabon branch in Scotland, beauty store Rituals and Danish homeware brand Sostrene Grene.

To celebrate the opening, the Starbucks team has been handing out discounted vouchers, along with gifting the customers reusable cups across the first two days.

In addition to new retailers, the owners LCP also recently announced plans to expand into the leisure sector, with Hollywood Bowl set to open a 26,000 sq ft venue next year, featuring 22 bowling lanes, an arcade and a bar and diner at the shopping centre.

Additional new openings at The Centre during the past 12 months include Las Iguanas, BeLeaf Juice Bar, Beauty’s Inn, Pop Specs, Buzart, Afro Crest, The Designer Rooms, Loris Parfum, The Watch Lab, Barclays Bank and Elite Smile Dental Clinic.

Centre director Patrick Robbertze commented: “We are delighted to welcome Starbucks to The Centre, Livingston which has created a real buzz in the shopping centre with coffee fans. We are very confident it will be a huge success.”
