Job Description:
Data entry of financial transactions and balancing accounts
Bank reconciliation: cross referencing the accounts against bank statements and other source documents to confirm accuracy
Maintaining bank statements and bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
Assist with monthly reporting
Prepare and process invoices
Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
Manage petty cash
Maintaining all bookkeeping records
Credit control
Assist in preparing HMRC/VAT returns
Assist in preparation of monthly pay runs
Checking that VAT coding and account allocating are correct
Assisting with migration of financial data to Sage
Assist the team with booking enquiries ensuring as required
Creation and accurate recording of budgets, quotes and contracts
Assist in the development of marketing material, and social media campaigns
Working with medical staff to draft event medical plans for small events
Organise the delivery of training, including liaising with and booking of instructors
Experience And Qualifications:
Demonstrable ability to work quickly, flexibly and accurately in a dynamic, changing and pressured environment
Proactive approach with the ability to use own initiative for overcoming challenges
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Competent in the use of relevant Microsoft Office packages
Proficient in Accounting systems-knowledge of Zero would be an advantage
