Job Description:

The role can include:
• Supporting a high volume purchase ledger function across 5 group companies
• To ensure all invoices and credits are correctly entered, authorised and processed through the high-volume purchase ledger system
• Matching of stock entries to supplier invoices and reviewing any discrepancies
• Review and process employee credit cards on a monthly basis
• Work with both internal teams and external suppliers to resolve queries in a timely manner
• Daily posting of purchase ledger and cashbook payments
• Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Preparing monthly BACS run
• Overall review of purchase ledger, updating contact details, allocations and general housekeeping of the ledger
• Continually review ways of working and be involved in projects as we look to evolve the Accounts
Experience And Qualifications:
• Good communication skills, both internally and externally.
• Must be adaptable, conscientious and enthusiastic with an excellent attention to detail
• Positive and motivated personality
• Ability to pick up, understand and follow processes quickly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be able to multi-task and prioritise workload
• National 5 Maths would be advantageous for this position.
