Job Description:
Powerflow Solutions Ltd are seeking an individual to fill our vacancy as a full-time Stores and Trade counter Controller based at our Broxburn office West Lothian. The job role requires some experience and knowledge about stock control which will include checking and booking parts received from suppliers, sorting and picking parts to make ready for customer collection, carrier collection or by means of company vehicle. The job roll will include assisting with the manufacture of hydraulic hose assemblies received by trade counter sales.
Duties of the post holder include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with trade counter sales
• Manufacture of Hydraulic hose assemblies (Training will be provided)
• Stock control activities including goods inwards and goods outwards.
• Computer work associated with trade counter sales, goods inwards and goods outwards activities.
• Packaging customer orders and arranging to be sent by courier.
• Forklift driver preferred but training can be offered.
Experience And Qualifications:
• A professional manner with great communication skills
• A problem-solving individual with organisational skills
• Computer skills which will include Microsoft Office 365
• Excellent teamworking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and goal driven individual
• The ability to work in a demanding role.
• A general interest and understanding of products used within Hydraulic and Pneumatic, Engineering industry would be advantageous.
• A great multitasking individual working to any time constraints.
• 25 years or above and a full clean and full UK Driving Licence due to insurance purposes.
• There will be a requirement to operate a forklift truck but we could arrange to have the individual put through external training to gain certification.
