Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Groundwork:
Preparing sites for construction, including clearing vegetation, leveling ground, and excavating.
Laying foundations for patios, paths, and driveways.
Installing drainage systems and other groundworks infrastructure.
Hard Landscaping:
Constructing patios, decking, and other hardscape features.
Building retaining walls, steps, and other structural elements.
Paving, concreting, and laying stone or brickwork.
Soft Landscaping:
Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns.
Installing irrigation systems and managing soil preparation.
Maintaining existing landscapes, including pruning, weeding, and mulching.
Fencing:
Installing various types of fencing, including wooden, metal, and vinyl.
Repairing and maintaining existing fences.
Ensuring all fencing work is performed to high safety and quality standards.
General Duties:
Operating and maintaining landscaping tools and machinery.
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Communicating effect
Experience And Qualifications:
Proven experience in groundwork, landscaping, and fencing.
Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscape construction techniques.
Ability to operate a variety of landscaping machinery and tools.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS card, NVQ in Landscaping, etc.) are a plus.
