Job Description:
For many passengers you'll be the face of the organisation that they will remember.
Creating a first-class impression, and making them feel safe, secure and welcome, should come as second nature to you.
You need an eye for detail when checking and issuing tickets, an organised mind when handling cash and processing card transactions and a level head when patrolling the train and dealing with overcrowding, travel, customer issues and other situations that might unexpectedly arise.
This role will involve assisting passengers with disabilities to board and alight trains and could involve the use of a portable ramp which weighs up to 15kg, the portable ramp may be required to be carried the full length of a train.
Experience And Qualifications:

This role is about delivering quality customer service and thinking clearly on your feet.

Your excellent communication skills will be evident, as will the ability to work alone when required and be able to demonstrate individual initiative when required.
You don't need to have any experience as your training will include induction, customer service, commercial skills, first aid, fire safety, disability awareness and conflict management - will be professionally delivered to give you all the tools you need to master this interesting role.
