An opportunity has become available for an experienced, qualified Electrician to become part of C~urb’s Planned Maintenance Team. You will be responsible for carrying out full rewires wthin domestic properties as part of a two-person team. C~urb is a partner company of Link Group and provides high quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance services to Link tenants and other customers in Scotland’s Central Belt. In addition, we also deliver a range of planned and cyclical maintenance activities. There will be a requirement to work throughout Link's areas of operation, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. You will be able to work flexibly to ensure that timescales are met. Experience And Qualifications:
About You You will have detailed technical knowledge evidenced by experience and a relevant NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent). This role requires a qualification in City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and a Health & Safety passport (e.g. ECS card). You will have proven experience in a similar electrician role and a competent knowledge of electrical installations/appliances including fault diagnosis and rectification. The successful post holder will have the ability to compile written technical reports and a knowledge of a variety of traditional and non-traditional construction methods, materials and installations. Knowledge of and a commitment to excellent customer care are essential for this role, as well as a sound knowledge and awareness of relevant Health and Safety requirements and an understanding of legislation and how both impact on method of work and customer needs.
