Job Description:
Production of monthly management accounts with associated commentary and analysis
Preparing budgets, forecasts and re-forecasts
Preparing packs for Senior Management and presenting this information at management meetings/Board meetings
Liaising with numerous stakeholders within and outwith finance - acting as a finance business partner and answering any queries they may have
Support the statutory accounts process, including liaising with external advisors as necessary
Oversee AP, AR and other operational finance personnel
Support the SMT with bespoke projects and analysis as required by the business
Experience And Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, it is anticipated that you will have good management accounting knowledge, gained in a manufacturing, FMCG, construction or related business.
Regardless of your background and skill-set, it is important that you have well developed IT skills, in particular, Excel. Knowledge or larger ERP systems such as K8 would be especially attractive. The ability to speak to a wide stakeholder base, up to and including Executive level would be a real advantage, as would be your ability to work on your initiative and prepare good quality work to reasonable timescales.
