Job Description:
To ensure the organisation provides Patients, Staff and Visitors with a high quality person centred and safe catering service. Assisting with the preparation of food stuffs and contributing to the operation and cleanliness of kitchens, dining rooms and all associated equipment whilst supporting the production, portioning, distribution and service of the meals and snacks.
Experience And Qualifications:
Clean and smart, and tidy, no evidence of nail biting. Able to communicate effectively. Evidence of good personal hygiene practices. Able to understand instructions received
from Supervisors
Able to carry out physically demanding work. Works well within a team
Basic Reading and writing skills which are required to read and understand COSHH policies and procedures along with Health and Safety data and Catering instructions and procedures.
Food hygiene certificate, COSHH awareness
Basic Health and Safety knowledge along with basic food hygiene knowledge.
Able to adhere to policies and procedures. Can wear all PPE including safety footwear.
Previous health and safety knowledge, awareness of food hygiene, Basic I.T. skills
Previous catering experience Large scale catering experience or other
appropriate work experience, customer care experience
