Job Description:
As an Operations team member, reporting into the Operations Manager, you should be an experienced roadworker/civil engineering operative with the necessary skills to conduct various road maintenance operations, training will be provided if necessary.
Ideally you should have, as a minimum, an LGV Class 2 Licence (HGV2), and be prepared to participate in our winter and emergency response service on a standby rota basis.
This is a full time role.
We are Looking for:
Civil engineering Operatives – Drainage, Excavation, Kerb laying, Concreting etc.
Road and footway patching/surfacing operatives
Traffic Management Installers
Safety Barrier Installers
Emergency Responders
Winter maintenance Service drivers
Operators of power tools, small plant, and machinery.
Drivers of vehicles including those with simple attachments such as tractors.
Experience And Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
There may be the need undertake training to achieve certification in aspects of the job.
Physically fit for working in sometimes arduous conditions.
Experience of using small plant.
Holding tickets for plant, traffic management, and Health and Safety an advantage.
Full UK driving license preferably at LGV Class C level.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Flexible to working practices.
